What is the THREE ONES Holistic Model?

The THREE ONES Holistic Model is a simple and relational approach to creating a culture of outreach in the local church through everyday faithfulness. Rather than focusing only on programs, it encourages believers to live missionally through one prayer, one conversation, and one story.

Through intentional presence, prayer, hospitality, and relationships, people learn to walk alongside others as Jesus did and create natural opportunities for spiritual conversations and gospel living.

“Let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ…” Philippians 1:27

One Prayer
  1. Breath Prayer: A short prayer you repeat throughout the day — like breathing. Example: “Jesus, give me Your compassion.” / “Lord, open their heart.” It’s a small step of prayer, but it creates a habit of prayer and helps align your heart with God. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 —”Pray without ceasing”
  2. Blessing Prayer: A blessing prayer is simply speaking God’s goodness over someone in Jesus’ name. David often blessed God’s people with short, direct prayers. Example: “Psalm 29:11 — May the Lord give strength to his people; may the Lord bless his people with peace.” As we bless others, we reflect Christ’s heart and rejoice as we watch God work in their lives. Numbers 6:24–26 — “The Lord’s Blessing”
  3. Intercessory Prayer: Intercession simply means carrying someone before God in prayer. It is praying for others with the heart of Jesus — with compassion, perseverance, and hope for their salvation. Example: “Lord, please bring _____to the Father.” We follow Jesus’ example of praying for others and trusting God to work in their lives over time. John 17-20:26 — “Jesus prayed for those who would come to believe.”
One Conversation
  1. Notice: Be aware of the Holy Spirit’s leading in everyday moments. Outreach doesn’t start with speaking. It starts with noticing. Notice God’s presence and where He is already at work in someone’s life. Example: “Lord, help me see this person the way You do.” When we notice, we move from forcing a conversation to joining what God is already doing. Matthew 9:36 — “When He saw the crowds, He had compassion…”
  2. Listen: We listen first — without an agenda. Listening shows love, value, and dignity. Lisetning is one of the most Christlike gifts we can give. Example: “Tell me more about that.” / “How do you feel about that?” When we listen, walls come down and trust begins. James 1:19 — “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak…”
  3. Cultivate: Join what God is already doing in your “one.” Walk with them through presence, care, and relationship. Example: “How have you been doing lately?” Cultivating builds trust and opens space for deeper spiritual conversations over time. Matthew 13:3–9, 18–23 — “Parable of the Sower”
One Story
  1. Testimony: Share what Jesus has done in your life — simply and honestly. Your story shows the reality of Christ in a personal way. Example: “There was a time I felt anxious and alone, but when I met Jesus, He gave me peace and direction.” When we share our story, walls lower and hearts open to the possibility of God. Revelation 12:11 —“They overcame… by the word of their testimony.”
  2. Scripture: Share a verse that speaks directly to their need. Even one short verse can bring hope, clarity, and truth. Example: “There’s a scripture that really helped me during a hard season. Can I share it with you?” When we bring Scripture, we bring God’s voice — not pressure. Isaiah 55:11 — “My word… will not return to me empty.”
  3. Gospel: Share the good news of Jesus clearly and simply. The gospel is not a formula — it’s the story of God’s love. Example: “Lord Jesus came to rescue you because sin separates us from God, but through His death and resurrection, you can know Him personally by trusting Him.” When we share the gospel, we are simply bearing witness to God’s power — He is the One who saves and transforms hearts. Romans 1:16 — “The gospel… is the power of God for salvation.”
Stories

We need stories that infuse faith into our hearts and stimulate action in others. When we share what God is doing —even small steps —stories help us see that outreach is not a program…it’s a lifestyle. Stories inspire people to pray, to have conversations, and to share their story of Jesus.

Outreach Together

Outreach Together is a monthly, in person’s gathering. We come together to be encouraged, refreshed, and reminded that we are not walking alone. As we share stories, listen, and pray, we re-center on simple, faithful steps and join what God is already doing in our lives and in the lives of our “one.”

Go & Gather

We do not simply invite people into church programs. We go into their world with intentional presence. Through everyday moments such as conversations, meals, shared activities, listening, encouragement, and hospitality, we gather with people, build genuine relationships, and walk alongside them as Jesus did.
