THREE ONES Holistic Model

The THREE ONES Holistic Model begins with three simple practices: One Prayer, One Conversation, and One Story. It helps everyday believers take natural and faithful steps toward people God has placed in their lives through prayer, listening, conversations, and sharing their personal faith stories.

The core practices are inspired and strengthened through Outreach Stories, Outreach Together, and Go & Gather. Through these rhythms, we share stories, pray for and encourage one another, build relationships, and continue taking faithful steps toward our “one.”

Through THREE ONES, we learn to walk alongside others as Jesus did, creating natural opportunities for spiritual conversations, gospel witness, and everyday gospel living.

“Let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ…” Philippians 1:27

Core Practices

One Prayer
  1. Breath Prayer: Pray continually. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 —”Pray without ceasing”
  2. Blessing Prayer: Pray God’s blessing over others. Psalm 29:11 — “May the LORD bless his people with peace!”
  3. Intercessory Prayer: Bring your “one” before God and pray for their salvation. John 17-20:26 — “Jesus prayed for those who would come to believe.”
One Conversation
  1. Notice: Notice the person and where God may already be at work. Matthew 9:36 — “When He saw the crowds, He had compassion…”
  2. Listen: Listen with genuine interest and without an agenda. James 1:19 — “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak…”
  3. Cultivate: Join God’s work as you build trust and deepen the relationship over time. Matthew 13:3–9, 18–23 — “Parable of the Sower”
One Story
  1. Testimony: Share what Jesus has done in your life. Revelation 12:11 —“They overcame… by the word of their testimony.”
  2. Scripture: Share God’s Word naturally and appropriately. Isaiah 55:11 — “My word… will not return to me empty.”
  3. Gospel: Share the good news of Jesus clearly and simply. Romans 1:16 — “The gospel… is the power of God for salvation.”

Inspiring the Core Practices

Three Practices That Keep Outreach Moving

Outeach Stories

Stories inspire faith and encourage action. When we share what God is doing—even through small steps—we encourage one another to keep praying, having conversations, and sharing the story of Jesus.

Outreach Together

The third week of each month is Outreach Together Week—a time to gather, pray, share, and encourage one another as we live out THREE ONES with our “ones.”

A Flow for Our Time Together

1. Share

Share how God has been at work through One Prayer, One Conversation, or One Story.

2. Reflect

Where did you see God working? What encouraged, challenged, or surprised you?

3. Pray

Pray for one another and for your “ones.” Ask God to open hearts, create opportunities, and draw people to Jesus.

Go & Gather

Go into people’s everyday lives with love and gather people through presence, relationship, and hospitality.

We do not simply invite people into church programs. We go into their world with intentional presence. Through everyday moments such as conversations, meals, shared activities, listening, encouragement, and hospitality, we gather with people, build genuine relationships, and walk alongside them as Jesus did.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us…”— The Gospel of John 1:14

Biblical Inspiration

Jesus both went to people and gathered people:

  • He walked through towns and neighborhoods. (Matthew 9:35)
  • He ate at tables. (Matthew 9:10)
  • He visited homes. (Matthew 8:14)
  • He listened, cared, and stayed present. (Matthew 9:36)
  • He gathered disciples and welcomed outsiders. (Matthew 4:19)
Examples of Go & Gather
  • Creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, valued, and welcomed.
  • Sharing a meal or coffee with a coworker who feels isolated or discouraged.
  • Visiting the same coffee shop regularly and building friendships with workers.
  • Joining a neighbor’s hobby, sports activity, or community gathering with intentional presence.
  • Inviting neighbors, friends, or coworkers into your home for meals and conversation.
  • Showing up consistently for someone during a difficult season of life.
  • Donating food, supplies, or practical resources to nonprofits, schools, police departments, fire stations, and public spaces.
  • Blessing your community through yard work, simple repairs, meal support, and practical acts of care.
