Early this month, many from our church family stepped into something new — THREE ONES: One Prayer Workshop.
We gathered across multiple settings:
- Saturday: 32 people
- Sunday: 33 people
- Tuesday Life Groups: 15 people
- Sunday Youth Group: 14 students
Different rooms. Different ages. One heart.
First of all, thank You, Jesus.
So many people joined, leaned in, and interacted even though the THREE ONES framework was completely new for most of them. Whenever something is new, there can be hesitation. But instead, we saw openness. Curiosity. Participation. Hunger.
That alone is evidence of God at work.
A Framework That Starts Small
THREE ONES begins simply:
One Prayer.
One Conversation.
One Story.
One step at a time.
During this workshop, we focused on One Prayer — aligning our hearts with God’s heart for one person.
Not pressure.
Not performance.
Not having all the answers.
Just prayer.
“Before we speak to people about God, we first speak to God about people.“
The Most Encouraging Moment
One of the most beautiful moments came from our high school students.
With the help and leadership of our youth pastor, the students didn’t just sit and listen — they engaged. They began thinking seriously about who their “One” might be. A classmate. A teammate. A friend.
You could see it in their faces — this wasn’t theoretical. It was personal.
When young people begin asking, “Who is the one person God is placing on my heart?” — that is something powerful. That is kingdom momentum.
Jesus said in Matthew 9:37–38,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few… therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest…”
What moved my heart most was not the attendance numbers — though we are grateful — but seeing a new generation stepping into prayer.
A Culture of Prayer Is Forming
Something gentle but important began this month.
We are learning to slow down.
To notice people.
To carry one person before God.
Breath Prayer.
Blessing Prayer.
Intercessory Prayer.
Simple rhythms.
Relational.
Spirit-led.
This is how outreach begins — not with strategy first, but with surrendered hearts.
Thank You, Church Family
To every adult who participated.
To every Life Group leader who created space.
To our youth pastor who guided our students.
To every high school student who courageously chose “one person” to pray for.
Thank you.
And most of all — thank You, Jesus — for stirring hearts.
This is just the beginning.
One Prayer.
One step at a time.
Trusting God to make an eternal difference.
